Kia ora koutou for the last two weeks of school, we decided to make speeches for our graduation dinner, I just want to talk about all the learning I did throughout the years here at Tautoro Kura, I want to talk about how my learning went when I was in ruma wha(4) when I had just started tautoro, our old teacher was Whaea Rosina, She was nice and taught me how to count, write, and read better, I’m thankful to her to giving me a great start in learning after a year with her I moved to room 5 where Matua Mat taught us, but after being transferred to room 6 the real trouble began the work was tough and the teacher Whaea Mary was tougher but she meant well in her own way but it didn’t really work I was held back a year for not paying attention in class and not understanding the work after finally being transferred to room 7 it was better and I often understood the work after learning what Whaea Rachelle taught us, I was moved to the class I’m in now Room 8, I’ll miss tautoro school it was full of so many things laughter, some regret, but most of all memories.
Kia ora koutou, ko christina Adams,
I’m from Tautoro. I live in town and I’ve been at Tautoro School for 6 years,
My time here at Tautoro School has taught me alot of things like te reo maori, math, and literacy, I want to share what my favorite learning experience which was learning my favorite subject- math! I enjoyed using my time’s timetables, and solving equations, though my greatest achievement was meeting new people and exploring new places,
I have set goals for myself in the future and I believe I’ll get there, with my family and friends beside me nothing will stop me from achieving my goals for the future, the thing I’m most excited about for college is seeing the friends I made there when we visited,
One of the things I want to learn after I leave Tautoro is ventriloquism, I’m also excited about learning new things and making more friends, but I will always think of the times I’ve had here at Tautoro School, Tena koutou, tena koutou, tena koutou, katoa.
